Autumn Alias (10 cards)

"Alias" is an excellent game to practice speaking. If you have an individual lesson, you can set a timer for 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the student's ability, and have them explain as many words as they can within that time frame.

For group settings, you have options: either divide into teams or play individually in a competitive format. You can either give 1 minute and count how many words the player has explained by the end of the time, or the task can be to explain all the words and time them. The winner is the person who is the fastest.

The game is a great way to wrap up/start a lesson, whether you've got extra time or you just want to end/start on a high note.
