Find 7 Differences Autumn Edition

How to Play:

1. Look Closely
   Invite your students to carefully observe both autumn-themed pictures. Encourage them to notice details such as where leaves are scattered, which objects appear on the ground, or what people are wearing.

2. Use the Phrases
   Before they begin, review the useful phrases provided in the top right corner (e.g. “There is…”, “There are…”, “Next to…”, “In front of…”). Remind students to build full sentences, not just single words, when describing differences.

3. Play in Pairs

   • Put students into breakout rooms.

   • One student starts by describing a difference (“There is a pumpkin under the bench in the first picture, but not in the second”).

   • Their partner confirms or adds another.

   • They take turns until all differences are spotted.

4. Play Individually 

   • Students name the differences they can see.

   • Encourage them to say each one as a complete sentence.

5. Competitive Mode (with Chat)

   • Students compete to type differences into the chat as quickly as possible.

   • Each correct, full-sentence answer scores 1 point (e.g. “There are leaves on the path in the first picture, but not in the second”).

   • The teacher (or a student referee) keeps score.

   • The winner is the student/pair with the most points when all seven differences are found.

   • Bonus challenge: award an extra point for especially accurate use of prepositions.

6. Check Together
   If they miss any, no worries — the answers are included on the next slide.
