Grammar Gambit – Past Tenses Challenge

How to play:

• Play in teams or player vs player.
• The teacher clicks the randomiser. 
• The student/team receives a task card. They complete the grammar task on the card (gap fill, multiple choice, error correction).
• Each card includes a point action: Keep, Donate or Bankrupt. If it's Keep – the team/player keeps the points if their answer is correct.  If it's Donate – they must give the indicated number of points to another player/team of their choice.  If they don’t have enough points to donate, they give all they have.  If it’s Bankrupt – they lose all their points. 
• The teacher keeps track of all points.
• The winner is the player or team with the most points at the end of the game.
