How to Use This Activity

Individual/Pair Work
Students look at the two people’s routine photos and read the short facts. They choose one reason for each person and say two simple sentences using to + verb, e.g. “Olivia goes to the gym to be healthy.” / “Mark goes to the gym to get strong.”
This stage helps students link daily actions with purpose and practise the target structure accurately.

Class Sharing
Invite a few students to share their sentences with the class. Other students can agree or offer a different reason (using to + verb).
This stage boosts confidence and lets the teacher quickly check form and meaning.
