Life Cards
How to use:
1. Distribute the Life Cards
Show or send each student a unique Life Card describing an unusual or magical life (e.g., Intergalactic Botanist, Friendly Ghost Therapist, Retired Supervillain-Turned-Author).
2. Prepare the Pitch (3–5 minutes)
Ask students to read their card and prepare a 1–2 minute speech.
Encourage them to personalise their life with creative ideas—details, humour, challenges, or dramatic flair.
3. Present the Life
Let students present their alternate lives one by one to the full group.
Encourage confident speaking, expressive language, and imagination.
They can present in character, as if they truly live that life.
4. Ask Questions
After each student finishes, open the floor for 1–2 quick audience questions.
Prompt classmates to ask fun, curious, or thoughtful questions (e.g., “What does your spaceship smell like?” “How do you communicate with ghosts?”).
5. Vote ⭐
Once the questions are complete:
- Students decide if they would want to live that life.
- If yes, they send a star emoji (⭐) in the chat or use a star reaction.
- Students can vote for more than one life—encourage honest, enthusiastic voting.
6. Declare the Winner
Count all the stars (votes) at the end. The student with the most stars wins the game.
