Life Forecast - Perfect Tenses

Grammar activity ENG HUB Pro

How to Use This Activity

Individual Work
Send or show students life cards.
Ask them to read the facts and answer the three questions:
– What had happened before a big change?
– What has he/she done so far?
– What will he/she have done by 2030?
They speak in full sentences using Past Perfect, Present Perfect, and Future Perfect.

Pair or Group Work
Put students in pairs or small groups.
Each student reads their card and tells the others about the person’s life using perfect tenses.
Partners ask follow-up questions to deepen the story (e.g. Why? How long? What next?).
Encourage discussion and comparison between stories.

Class Sharing
Ask volunteers to present one full “life forecast” to the class.
Use this stage to highlight good use of perfect tenses and correct common errors (e.g. he has went → he has gone).
Optionally, have the class vote on the most impressive or surprising life path.
