• Decide if statements about getting around your city are true or false for you and explain why.
• Watch a cycling video and discuss where the cyclist is and how they feel.
• Compare six types of bikes and say which one you would (or would never) choose.
• Label a bike and practise the new vocabulary in gap-fill sentences.
• Predict what may happen when something on the bike breaks and give one piece of advice.
• Complete customer–mechanic dialogues with phrases like pump up the tyres and lock up the bike.
• Work in pairs to decide which repairs the mechanic should do first and which can wait.
• Play a board game and complete the speaking challenges.
• Take a quiz to find out what type of cyclist you are — and check it against a video.
