My 2 Rules

Speaking activity ENG HUB Pro

How to Use This Activity

Individual Work
Students read the location on the slide and think of two rules for that place. They prepare one short reason for each rule using simple language.

Pairs and Small Groups
Students take turns sharing their two rules. Partners listen and ask one easy follow-up: “Why?” / “What happens if you don’t?” / “Is that rule important for everyone?” The speaker answers with one extra sentence (e.g., “Because it’s safer.”).

Class Sharing
Invite a few students to share their best rules. As a class, improve them by making them clearer or stronger (e.g., change “Don’t be loud” → “You mustn’t talk loudly because people are resting.”).
