My Autumn Day – Game for all tenses

How to Use This Activity

• Divide the class into two teams (you can also play teacher vs. students).
• On each turn, a player chooses a number, clicks it, and sees a card with an autumn situation and several simple verbs.
• The player talks about the situation by making 1–2 short sentences. They can use:
• Present Simple – to say what they usually do (I wake up early and drink tea.)
• Past Simple – to say what they did (Yesterday I woke up late and missed the bus.)
• Future (will / going to) – to say what they will do (Tomorrow I will wake up earlier and wait for the bus.)
• Encourage students to link ideas with the useful phrases (First…, Then…, After that…, So…, etc.).
• If the answer is correct and complete, the team takes the item shown on the card and adds it to their collection.
• Keep playing until all cards are used or time runs out. The team with the most different items at the end wins.
