My Winter Weekend
How to Use This Activity
Individual Work
Students look at different winter weekend plans and choose the one they like most.
They say what they are going to do using one or two short sentences
(e.g. I choose this plan because I like winter activities.).
This stage helps students practise talking about plans and preferences.
Pairs and Small Groups
Students work in pairs or small groups and take turns talking about their chosen plan.
They explain why they chose it, while partners listen and ask one simple follow-up question
(Why? When? With whom?).
As an extension, partners can guess which plan the student will choose before they answer.
Class Sharing
Invite a few students to talk about their chosen winter plan in front of the class.
Other students can react by saying Me too, Not for me, or by naming a different plan they would choose.
This stage builds interaction and helps the teacher learn more about students’ interests and winter habits.
