Rank the Activities 2.0

Speaking activity Free

How to Play:

  • Students work in pairs or small groups to discuss a set of three activities displayed on each slide.
  • Together, they decide how to rank the activities from most to least preferred.
  • Each student explains their reasons for their choices using simple sentences and expressions.
  • After group discussions, students share their rankings and explanations with the class.
  • To support students, a list of useful phrases and expressions will be provided to guide them in explaining their preferences (e.g., "I’m really fond of..., because..." or "I mostly prefer...").
  • This activity helps learners practise talking about preferences, giving reasons, and using action-related vocabulary in a fun and engaging way.
