How to use:
💬 Offline (In-Person)
- Pairs/Small Groups: Students discuss the questions in pairs or small groups, taking turns answering and building on each other's ideas.
- Whole Class Discussion: The teacher selects a few questions and facilitates a class debate, encouraging students to challenge each other's viewpoints.
- Rotating Conversations: Students switch partners every few minutes to discuss different questions with new people.
- Creative Writing Extension: After discussing, students choose one question and write a short story or essay based on their ideas.
💻 Online (Breakout Rooms)
- Breakout Rooms (Pairs/Groups): Students discuss the questions in breakout rooms, then report their most interesting answers back to the main class.
- Individual Reflection + Group Sharing: Students first write their thoughts on a few questions and then share them in small groups.
- Debate Format: Assign different viewpoints to students and have them defend their positions in a structured discussion.
🔄 Flexible Approach:
- Use randomly assigned questions or let students choose the ones they find most interesting.
- Encourage creative, open-ended responses rather than just logical ones.
- Mix written and spoken activities to reinforce learning in different ways.
