Offline Rules:
- Pairing/Grouping: Students will be paired or grouped by the teacher.
- Card Distribution: Each pair/group receives a set of cards about spring (choose the number of cards).
- Discussion Time: Students discuss the questions within their pairs/groups.
- Discover & Share: After discussion, each student shares something interesting they learned about their partner or group members with the whole class.
- Question Assignment: The teacher may assign the same question to all pairs/groups or different questions to each.
Online Rules:
- Virtual Pairing/Grouping: Students will be assigned to virtual breakout rooms for pairing or grouping.
- Card Sharing: Digital versions of the spring cards will be shared with each pair/group.
- Online Discussion: Students discuss the cards in their respective breakout rooms.
- Sharing in Main Room: After the discussion, students return to the main virtual room to share their findings about their partners or group members.
- Question Distribution: The teacher assigns questions either uniformly to all or uniquely to each pair/group, which can be done via a shared online document or direct messaging.
