Spy Camera - Prepositions of Place
How to Use This Activity
Individual Work
Students look at the picture for 30 seconds and try to remember where the objects are. They can take short notes or just keep the details in their memory. After that, they describe where the objects are using prepositions.
Pair or Group Work
Students take turns describing the picture to a partner using prepositions of place (e.g. on, under, next to, behind, in front of). Partners listen carefully, agree or disagree, and ask follow-up questions such as Are you sure? or What’s next to the lamp?
Class Sharing
After the pair or group work, students compare their answers as a class. Show the original picture again and check both memory and language accuracy together.
Optionally, turn it into a fun memory competition by giving points for correct sentences or accurate use of prepositions.
