How to Use:
Individual lessons
-
Show the slide and give students a moment to look at all the options.
-
Ask students to choose one or more items, following the rule on the slide.
-
Give students 30–60 seconds of thinking time before they speak.
-
Students explain their choices using their own reasons and examples.
-
Ask short follow-up questions.
-
Avoid correcting language during this stage; focus on meaning and interaction.
Group lessons (including breakout rooms)
-
Put students into pairs or small groups (2–4 students).
-
Each student explains their choice(s).
-
Students react to each other’s answers (agree, disagree, compare).
-
Invite brief feedback or one interesting idea from each group in the main room.
⏱ Suggested time: 5–10 minutes, depending on group size and level.
