Tiny Awkward Moments
How to Use This Activity
Individual Work
Give each student a card with a small awkward situation. Students read the card and describe how they would feel and how they would fix the moment. They focus on simple emotional language, clear explanations, and natural everyday reactions.
Pair or Group Work
Students work in pairs or small groups. They read their situations, compare reactions, and discuss why different people might feel differently. Then they choose the best or most realistic way to handle each moment. Groups can also create a short “what happened next” version to add detail and fun.
Class Sharing
Invite students to share their situation and their solution with the class. Classmates listen for clear speech, natural descriptions, and creative or relatable ideas. Optionally, the class can vote in simple categories such as Best Fix, Funniest Moment, or Most Realistic Reaction.
