How to Use:
Offline (In-Person)
- Pairs/Small Groups: Students take turns describing their superpower and discussing how they would use it. Others ask questions or give suggestions.
- Whole Class Sharing: Some students present their superpowers to the class. The teacher encourages discussion by asking follow-up questions.
- Partner Switch: Students change partners every few minutes to share their superpower with someone new.
- Writing Activity: After speaking, students write a short paragraph about their superpower and how it could help them.
Online (Breakout Rooms)
- Small Group Discussion: Students talk in breakout rooms, explaining their superpowers and asking each other questions.
- Think & Share: Students first write a few sentences about their superpower, then discuss it in small groups.
- Mini-Debate: Students compare different superpowers and decide which one would be the most useful.
Flexible Approach:
- Students can choose their superpower or get a random one.
- Encourage fun and creative ideas, not just serious ones.
- Mix speaking with writing to help students practise in different ways.
