Unusual Job Offers

How to use:

• Divide students into pairs or small groups.
• Explain the activity: students imagine receiving an unusual job offer and discuss whether they’d accept it, what the job entails, and how they'd manage.
• Assign one or more cards to each pair/group.
• Allow time for discussion, focusing on responsibilities, challenges, and personal preferences.
• Monitor discussions and provide language support as needed.
• Have students switch partners/groups to share and refine their ideas.
• Nominate a few students to share their ideas with the whole class.
• Provide feedback.
