How to use:

  • Use 1-2 cards or as many as you wish for your discussion.
  • Have students spend a few minutes thinking about their answers individually.
  • Arrange students into pairs or small groups to discuss their answers (use breakout rooms for small group discussions in online lessons).
  • Ensure each student has an opportunity to share and respond to others.
  • Bring the class together for a whole-group discussion.
  • Ask for volunteers to share their group's most interesting or creative responses.
  • Encourage peer feedback on ideas and language use.
