Why Has It Happened (Speaking cards)

Students are asked to think of creative (and not necessarily reasonable) explanations for the situation written on their card.

Assign each student a card and allow them to either create an explanation on their own or discuss it as a group. To add a playful twist, you can have everyone vote on the best explanation, and award a point to the student with the most votes.
